Services Offered

Every beneficiary is engaged in a vocational activity based on his/her functional ability. Vocational activities will include Painting, decorating, art and crafts, block printing, computers, catering, horticulture, hospitality, laundry services, gardening etc. These sessions are conducted on daily basis and products made by the beneficiaries. The goal is to keep their minds creative and active.

Adult literacy includes sharing knowledge on farming, surrounding environment of the rural life. This will also include soft skills training and socially acceptable behavior.

Prayers, Yoga, Gym, meditation and regular walks will be an integral part of the daily schedule for all residents to maintain Physical fitness as all components are important for pain avoidance/joint wear out/fatigue and to maintain optimum body weight.

In case of people with disabilities and senior citizens Social Emotional dimensions get impacted easily as a result of lack of participation due to limited mobility and health conditions. At Saanidhaanam social inclusion is the key goal. Activities like picnics and celebration of festivals will help enhance their social skills.

General Physician visits once a week to check all residents medical well being. First aid, dispensing regular medicines, monitoring blood pressures on daily basis and blood sugar levels are monitored on monthly basis by the Nursing station of Saanidhaanam. In case of hospitalization, the resident’s family will be taken to the nearest hospital, however the costs will be borne by the family.
